Mac planté, application gelée !

Bon ben WMP n'était pas en cause dans mon plantage. Je visionnais à nouveau une vidéo cette fois avec Flip4Mac, sur le site de TF1 (la même qu'hier) et la même chose vient de se produire (je précise pas au même endroit) : l'écran s'assombrit en descendant en partant du haut, et d'un coup tout se fige, tout est bloqué ! Obligé d'éteindre à la main.
Vous avez une idée sur ce qui peut se passer ? Si j'appelle Apple Care ils essaient de résoudre les problèmes par téléphone ? Merci de m'aider.

( flip4mac est une appli très propre)

par contre si t'as chargé des pseudos codecs ou pseudo outils flashs via des sites zarbis ( genre XXX ou poker) t'as peut etre un trojan

Ben non je n'ai téléchargé aucun codec, et la seule et unique vidéo que j'ai regardé c'est celle dont je vous parle, sur Tf1, la dernière émission de Koh lanta que j'avais raté :siffle:
Je fais quoi maintenant pour résoudre le problème ? Apple Care ils essaient de résoudre les problèmes par téléphone ? Qui doit-on appeler autrement quand on a un problème ?

Oui c'était bien marqué kernel panic je crois, c'est un rapport qui s'est affiché quand j'ai rallumé la machine, je l'ai envoyé à Apple mais je ne sais plus le retrouver :siffle: On peut le retrouver où ? C'est quoi un kernel panic ? Pourquoi dis-tu que c'est banal ?

les 2 causes principales
-une appli
-ou le matosse ( ajout de memoire)

et je t'ai déjà indiqué où lire

soit dans la console ( onglet historiques ..panic.log)

Ahh ca n'est donc plus du tout la même chose
mintenant faut aller voir les fils reparations de flashplayer

en gros le desinstaller via le desinstalleur
verif -reparation des autorisations
reinstall en prenant le dernier flash chez macromedia ( et nulle part ailleurs)

ne JAMAIS accepter l'offre que certains sites proposent de " mettre à jour le flashplayer " par un de leurs liens
( ou BIEN verifier que ce lien renvoit vraiment chez adobe macromedia)

cette "offre" c'est une des portes utilisés par des malwares

Un "kernel panic" indique une erreur assez grave, liée à une instabilité du système (composant logiciel incompatible, fichier système endommagé...) ou à un dysfonctionnement matériel (problème mémoire, ...).

Je commencerais par faire les opérations de maintenance habituelle (vérification du disque système, réparation des autorisations, scripts périodiques de maintenance...).

Je m'intéresserais au rapport du "kernel panic", et j'essaierais soit de reproduire le problème, soit de trouver des situations où il ne se reproduit pas, afin d'isoler la cause.

Il faudrait voir par exemple si le problème persiste lorsque la vidéo est lue directement sur le Mac après téléchargement, en boucle (il faut que ça dure assez longtemps si ça doit arriver au bout d'une heure).

Je ferais aussi un test hardware du Mac, et je vérifierais la température pendant la lecture prolongée de la vidéo.


En dernier ressort, je referais une installation propre du système, en évitant de réinstaller les logiciels bancales dont on a parlé plus haut (et dont on ne sais même pas si la version est correcte). Si dans une telle situation un "kernel panic" se reproduit, il faudra envisager de retourner le Mac au SAV pendant qu'il est encore sous garantie.


Soit dit en passant, la mémoire installée actuellement est-elle d'origine ?

Entre temps j'ai tenté de désinstaller complètement WMP (pas une mince affaire), et j'ai réparé les autorisations. Tout à l'air de fonctionner pour le moment.
Autrement, ça arrive souvent un crash ?

quant à crash dans le sens Apple
c'estautre chose

c'est à chaque fois qu'une appli quitte inopinement
( et ca arrive à tout le monde de temps en temps)

les raisons sont variables et y a pas de quoi y preter attention sauf si il y a répetition systematique

Exact. Le rapport de crash que tu donnes signale une fin anormale de l'aide (helpdatad). Mais ça n'a pas de rapport avec le "kernel panic".
