profil : Mac OS X 10.6.8.
DDE : Western digital My passport, essential SE USB2.0 (1To)
rq : le DDE est toujours "pour PC", j'ai un logiciel NTFS paragon sur mon mac pour lire et copier sur le DDE à partir du mac.

Bonjour,

voici mon problème : depuis une semaine environ lorsque je branche le disque dur externe sur n'importe laquelle des prises USB du mac une fenêtre s'ouvre sur les dossiers du DDE puis lorsque je clique sur l'un des dossiers pour l'ouvrir et voir les fichiers le mac plante et je suis obligée de le redémarrer.

bien sûr je n'y comprends rien!
Si quelqu'un peut m'aider à comprendre ce qu'il se passe et me donner une solution....merci beaucoup!
 
Bizarrement, on dirait que c'est l'extension fournie par Apple qui plante et que celle de Paragon n'est pas chargée.
Essaye peut-être de désinstaller puis réinstaller Paragon NTFS.
 
J'ai désinstallé paragon ntfs du mac au moins pour voir si, comme auparavant, je pouvais juste lire le contenu des dossiers du DDE. J'ai redémarré le mac et branché à nouveau le dde. Les dossiers s'affichent mais dès que je veux lire leur contenu, le mac plante.

Jusque là c'est logique puisque c'est comme ça que ça plantait le coup d'avant. On peut en déduire que l'extension NTFS native (celle d'Apple) a un bug.

Maintenant tu peux essayer de réinstaller Paragon NTFS et espérer que ce soit son extension qui désormais prenne en charge NTFS.

Avant que ces problèmes ne surviennent, aucune installation un peu sérieuse : mise à jour système, mise à jour de sécurité, installation d'une extension/d'un pilote etc. ?
 
mise à jour système, malheureusement j'ignore laquelle. Cela ne fait pas longtemps que j'ai un mac, je tâtonne pas mal et ne sais pas trop où chercher les renseignements.
j'ai également essayé de mettre à jour les drivers du dde en allant sur wd, apparemment cela s'est bien passé maintenant quand le dde passe de PC à mac pour copier les fichiers peut être cela l'a-t-il déboussolé un peu....les problèmes ont commencé après l'avoir branché à un pc pour copier des fichiers. Je ne sais pas si cela peut avoir un rapport.
j'essaye de te donner un maximum d'info. En tout cas merci de tes réponses.
 
La mise à jour système peut très bien avoir désactivé Paragon, d'où le fait que le premier plantage soit dû à l'extension de Mac OS X.

Je te conseille donc de réessayer après réinstallation de Paragon.
Par ailleurs, le passage par un PC induit peut-être un problème en effet. Sur ledit PC tu pourrais aussi vérifier la partition NTFS et la corriger si besoin est.

Au pire, reformarter la partition (après sauvegarde, évidemment ;)).
