Préférences Moniteurs ne s'ouvre pas

Bonjour,

Je suis sous 10.4.11 et voilà mon problème.

Je n'arrive pas à accéder au panneau Préférences Moniteurs dans les Préférences Systèmes. Chaque fois que je clique sur l'icône Moniteurs, l'application quitte inopinément et me propose d'envoyer un rapport à Apple (déjà deux rapports envoyés en quelques minutes).
Résultat identique quand je passe par l'icône Moniteur de la barre de menus.

Cela me gène dans la mesure où je souhaite changer de profil ICC.

Par ailleurs, j'ai fais une automation sous Onyx

Vérifier et réparer les autorisations
Exécuter les scripts de maintenance
Vider quelques caches…

Mais rien n'y fait. Le problème persiste (d'où le second rapport envoyé à Apple).

Que puis-je faire ?

sur un autre compte utilisateur (à créer au besoin), cela se passe t il mieux ?

si non > problème dans l'os même, je te conseille de réinstaller la maj combo
si oui > sans doute un fichier de préférence qui vazouille (pascal4mac TM

)

Salut,

Il se passe la même chose sur le second compte. L'application quitte inopinément dès que j'essaie d'ouvrir les Préférences Moniteurs.

Alors, qu'est-ce qui vazouille ?

ce n'est donc pas propre à ta session, mais à l'OS en lui même.... visiblement

télécharge et installe la MAJ combo.... ça peut aider...

en attendant une autre piste....

edit: tu peux aussi aller jeter un oeil dans l'utilitaire "console" et voir ce que dit le log d'activité....

poste le résultat ici, on analysera...

je cherchais une plist spécifique au "monitor" ou "display", mais je ne trouvais rien

j'avais fait un edit: double toasted.
puisque sur une autre session le problème persistait.

pour le fichier .plist, oui, tu peux le remettre dans le dossier Preferences.

il est toujours préférable de mettre ce genre de fichier sur le bureau, plutôt que de le virer.
comme au poker: simplement pour voir...

ce que je te proposais plus haut est d'aller chercher la mise à jour combinée de macOsx, qui reprend toutes les mises à jour depuis X.4.0, ça se trouve ici, à toi de choisir suivant ta machine, intel ou PPC

installe et redémarre

une chose à la fois

1) essaye en déplaçant l'un puis l'autre puis les deux

2) si avec tout ça, ça ne va pas mieux, réinstalle la combo

Le premier n'a rien changer et le second doit être un chemin vers les Displays (voir le rapport au post #11).
En utilisant Spotlight avant le mot clé Displays, j'ai trouvé un AppleScript qui permet de changer de profil sans passer par les Préférences Moniteurs. Ça fonctionne. Je peux changer de profil icc en passant par cet AppleScript. Mais cela ne résout pas mon problème de panneau Moniteurs.

non, je te fais juste faire ça pour rigoler :siffle:

ça ne mange pas de pain.... et pis ça permet souvent de rétablir des couacs système....

Je vois qu'il y a aussi une mise à jour Security Update 2008-006 (PowerPC) disponible.
Cela peut-il aider à résoudre mon problème ?

Pas réellement vu que les fichiers mis à jour sont remplacés par une nouvelle version

Les anciens étant effacés au fur et à mesure
