problème avec photoshop element 3

bonjour,
je suis tout nouveau dans l'univers de mac...et j'ai un soucis !!!
j'ai installé photoshop elements 3 (que j'ai eu avec mon imprimante). l'installation se passe plutôt bien...mais le lancement n'annonce rien de bon : il me dit qu'il a quitté inopinément (d'ailleurs ça me le fait parfois avec d'autres logiciels mais là c'est systématique...je n'ai jamais réussit à ouvrir ce foutu logiciel).
mais heureusement l'informatique est tout de même bien faite puisque j'ai un rapport d'erreur !!! mais j'y comprends que dalle......si quelqu'un parlant ce langage sublime et merveilleux pouvait m'éclairer ce serait super...
d'avance merci...

Si c'est possible, il serais très bien de démarrer sous Mac OS 9, puis d'installer PE depuis OS 9, et non depuis Tiger.

(Vue la vitesse de ton processeur, je dirais que cela est possible.)

Je me souviens qu'il m'est arrivé, à plusieurs reprises, et même il n'y a pas si longtemps que les versions des logiciels OEM fournis avec du matériel divers et varié (imprimante scanner, APN ...) soient uniquement en versions compatibles OS 9.
J'ai, depuis longtemps abandonné l'espoir d'utiliser de tels logiciels qui sont soit incomplets soit bloqués à tout nouvelle version soit carrément "ininstallables".

tout d'abord merci d'avoir pris le temps de lire ce post...je suis à nouveau disponible pour répondre à vos questions...donc s'il y a besoin de précision...
notez cependant que je suis un novice dans l'univers de mac...

Bon.... heu... la version de tu as de Photoshop Eléments et faite pour fonctionner sous Mac OS 9, alors que toi, tu essaye de la faire fonctionner depuis Mac OS X 10.4 (environ 4 ans d'écart)

Normalement, une passerelle est prévue pour pallier au problème, mais là, visiblement, le pont s'est écroulé.

Dans MenuPomme/Préférances Système/Démarrage, sélectionne le Système Mac OS 9, puis fait redémarrer.

L'ordinateur va alors essayer de démarrer sur Mac OS 9. Une fois fait, retrouve Photoshop Elements dans ton disque dur, et essaye de le lancer.

Pour revenir sur Mac OS X,
Soit Menu Pomme / Tableaux de Bord / Démarrage => Sélectionner le bon dossier système et relacer l'ordinateur

Soit au redémarrage, enfonce les touches Pomme et X (avant le Doiiing) , puis dans les préférences système/démarrage, resélectionne Mac OS X et ferme les préférences.

Quels sont tes besoins ?

(Peut-être vaudrait-il mieux te trouver un logiciel qui réponde à tes besoins et fonctionne sous Mac OS X plutôt que de jongler entre OS X et OS 9 )

quand à l'utilité du logiciel en question, ben je m'en sers surtout pour faire des modifications d'images (cadrage, calorimétrie, format)...p'tit travail sympas, héhé.
en fait l'avantage de ce logiciel était que je l'avais eu avec l'imprimante, donc gratos enfin presque...mais je vais voir ce que je peux faire parce que je ne me sens pas de changer d'OS tout les 4 matins...si éventuellement quelqu'un connait un logiciel libre de retouche photo...
mais en tout cas merci beaucoup pour toute vos réponses.

Effectivement, mieux vaut s'orienter vers un autre logiciel, qui sera qui plus est plus d'actualité .
