Anthony's communication was written back when pre-orders were first being
taken, and the release date was based on pure estimation of goal
accomplishment. Between adding features and putting out fires, the release
date got compromised.
A publishable release date for the iTrip is not currently available, but
what I can offer you instead is the very latest that I know. Approximately
three weeks ago, our proposed release date of late March got scrubbed due to
a couple of last-minute conflicts (I believe they were software related).
It has been relayed to me that those conflicts are now resolved and that a
final approval is due this week. If that approval is given, I should have
the iTrip releasing in late-April, and according to the production schedule,
product should be shipping in every day. As fast as they can make them,
they are supposed to ship them. That should should mean a minimal
inconvenience to tackling latter pre-orders. I apologize for the delay and
thank you for the email and your interest!!
